Nestled in the heart of Argyll, An Daroch isn’t just a holiday let — it’s a place full of memories, laughter, and love. This house was once our family home, and every room still carries a bit of that. It’s a place with a heartbeat — and now a retreat for others to enjoy and make their own.
Some of my favourite memories are of sitting quietly by the log burner, watching the ocean shift and shimmer through the windows. Whether it was a wild winter storm or the stillness of a summer evening, that view — and the warmth of the fire — made everything feel calm and timeless.
Those peaceful moments are what I hope to share with you. When the time came to move on, I couldn’t bear to let the house go entirely. So instead of selling it, I chose to share it. Turning it into a holiday home meant other families, couples, and adventurers could create their own memories here — while still keeping the spirit of the house alive.
This isn’t a polished, impersonal rental — it’s a lived-in home, full of character, quirks, and care. Every corner holds a story, from creaking floorboards to sunlit breakfasts in the dining area.. And now, An Daroch is ready for new stories — yours.
